The Bento Boxes are incredibly delicious. The price is right.

Formerly known as Asian Station, the proprietors changed the name but the food is still outstanding! I don’t know another place in this neighborhood or most others to get the freshest, most creative sushi at prices less than they should be. Katy and Benny are the most kind people and truly know hospitality. If you’re in or near the neighborhood, stop by and you will enjoy.

Random but good. Sushi, bao and crispy appetizers with great drinks is all that is required for a night out in the city. And the prices were affordable, making it worth the time. Portions are generous, so be careful about ordering too much. Would definitely recommend for a feel of what’s available in the city

Both front of house and back of house perform excellently. The design inside is beautiful and shows good judgment. The servings here fill you up with delicious flavors. Personnel exhibit remarkable pleasantness. The staff provides good assistance, the restaurant maintains tidiness and I look forward to visiting again.

A solid sushi option in the city. I walked past and stopped in with an immediate table and fast service. I had a couple of salmon rolls, spicy edamame and miso soup and all were good options. They have gluten free options in the back and have a gf soy sauce on hand.

Great Happy Hour spot on 52nd street . There HH cocktails are $7 and that's a great deal . I started with a Sakitini (sake with lychee liquor and 2 big lychee pieces in it.) Wow that was delicious, get one. My friend had a Watermelon Mojito and that was good too and tasted like Summer. We started with some sushi rolls. The spicy Tuna and the Osaka roll with fried salmon in it . Get the Osaka Roll - that was so good . Staff are nice too . For mains I got the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box , this comes with shumai and sushi and salad. Good deal . My friend got the Hibachi Chicken and Salmon Bento Box and his came with some shrimp and fried rice. He enjoyed that . For our 2nd round of drinks my friend got the Blue Hawaii with rum and blue curacao and pineapple juice . Again it was so delicious. Passionfruit drink was ok . Yasai Gyoza veggie dumplings are alright. I would skip the Calamari though. Bathrooms are clean. Next time I would try a Sushi Entree but this is a great Happy Hour spot. Subway right around the corner. Recommended.

GU Japanese Fusion Sushi & Bar offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere with polite and friendly staff. The food is consistently excellent, and the slightly dim lighting adds to the peaceful vibe. While the tables are close together, the restaurant is spacious with two seating areas and a bar, so it rarely feels overcrowded. One detail I really appreciate is the designated area for hanging coats—it’s such a thoughtful touch. I’ve been to this restaurant six times and have never made a reservation. Each time, the staff was kind enough to accommodate us, which is perfect for spontaneous visits like mine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and great service!
